Author talk with Marina Richie

Join Cape Fear Audubon the night of November 3rd for their monthly program, lead by Marina Richie, author of the award-winning book Halcyon Journey: In Search of the Belted Kingfisher. This program will be in person and a virtual option will also be available.

Pomegranate Books will be at the event selling books and a book signing will occur at the end of the program.

Marina Richie is a nature writer living in Bend, Oregon. In addition to Halcyon Journey, she is the author of two books for children: Bird Feats of Montana and Bug Feats of Montana. Her articles and essays have appeared in Birdwatching Magazine Birding, A.T. Journeys, Post Road Magazine, Montana Naturalist, Think Journal, in book collections, and in blogs. She pens a bi-monthly nature and poetry blog on her website: www.marinarichie.com.

Halcyon Journey is the winner of a 2022 National Outdoor Book Award and an Indies Foreword Award.
